Invalid http response: null

Hi everybody

We're running an old XI 3.0 system and i have built a simple scenario which calls a web service. However we are getting this error on the SOAP adapter call - com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: invalid http response: null.

Has anyone experienced this error? Any help would be much appreciated.
