SAP JMS Provider for Production Useage

HI PI Gurus,

We are working on JMS Scenarios and looking for possibility to use SAP Netweaver as JMS Provider.

Planning to have 4 Queues:

1) For Priority Work Orders

2) For Reactive Work Orders( except priority P1's)

3) For Planned Work Orders.

Third Party system will create orders and place the Work Order as XML's on these three different queues depending upon type of work and SAP PO will use JMS adapter to listen these different queues and process the XML's.

Planned work orders get created as part of batch so they will be created in bulk and daily it can produce 6000 or more work orders at a time. Each work order will be a one XML.

Now considering the scenario above, Can you suggest what are draw backs fo choosing SAP Netweaver as JMS provider for production useage?

We are planning to use Hermes JMS for monitoring the queues on Netweaver.

Please help me with all pros and cons with this approach.

Also comment on Queue Depth for JMS queues on SAP Netweaver Web AS( version 7.1).

Your sincere reply will be much appreciated and points will be awarded.

Kind Regards,

Anurag
