How to extract fields from Excel Sheet and fetch to BAPI and BDC.

Hi Gurus,

My scenario is to extract data fields from an Excel Sheet and to fetch that information to BAPI and BDCs. Can u guide me how to achieve this scenario using SAP PI 7.1 EHP 1.
