We are in process of migration from 7.11 dual stack to 7.31 AEX migration
Before we go ahead I would like to know some information which is not available on SDN...I have gone through most of the documents
Requirement is to maintain two PRD systems 7.11 and 7.31 AEX
- should both systems have to be on same SID or different SID's
- can we keep old PI7.11 system for ccBPM till NW BPM is not developed on 7.31
- If same SID, messages will be triggered to both PRD systems ? how to over come...do we need need to have diff SID's
- If new SID all the connection have to re-establish to back end system ? how about business system, can we maintain same business system in central SLD ie on SOLMAN or it has to be new business systems on PI7.31......if new Business system on PI7.31 there will be no client assigned to it as system does not ABAP stack
- Once migrated do we need to inactivate all the CC in PI7.11 as the PRD still active
- Do we need to establish new connections from back end system to new PI7.11 ? if so if a message is triggered it will be sent to both PRD systems which will cause confusion ?
- Will SLD have any issues with same business system name for both PRD systems
