Dear Experts,

We have an HTTP_AAE to IDoc_AAE scenario for receiving Invoices into SAP ECC system using IDoc type INVOIC02.

We are using PI 7.31 AEX service pack 07 single stack Java.

The message is successful in the sender channel but we are getting an error as below in the receiver channel.

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection HTTP_AAE_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.conn.idoc.IDocParseException: (7) IDOC_ERROR_PARSE_FAILURE: Invalid character encountered within IDocXML for type <INVOIC02>:

IDOCs are getting disappeared in

0
0

Hello Friends,

I need one help. My scenario is as below.

Its IDOC to File scenario. IDOCs are posted successfully from ECC system with 03 status.

I could also see in IDX5 in PI that IDOCs have been arrived.

But when I check adapter engine messages, messages are less that number of IDOCs, meanse some are missing.

No error messages in IE or AE. No message stuck in To be delivered or holding or waiting or delivering status.

For example out of 400 we had a scenario where 4 messages were missing. If we reprocess those IDocs they get processed successfully.

This happens on random basis. once in a week or once in month. Could not find proper patterns.

Could you guys please help. Had done some search but could not get any conclusive answers here.

on forum, I found, it could be because we have checked "Maintain Order at runtime" in Quality of service heading in interface determination.

But I am not sure how this is related. If yes, what should be done to avoid this.

I could also see that some messages are stuck in backlog ( Component monitoring-->Engine status), but i could see only numbers there, not sure how to get message ID from it.

Thanks for your help.

SCP protocol PI 7.11

Hi,

Has anybody SCPed a file to a target directory using PI ? I know the standard file adapter cannot support that. My design approach is to have a temporary FTP site within the intranet and have a script run that can SCP to the target directory. Another possible option would be to go for an adapter module that sits on top of file adapter(not sure about the feasibility). Any inputs or experiences will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,
can I use Business Component without Party to communicate with external system via FTP?

or is Business Component without Party mainly is within the landscape in a A2A communication for internal scenarios?

Meaning will it make any technical difference to use Business Component without Party to communicate with external system?

Thanks.

SAP PI : HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED & no connection to ESR, local data found

0

Hi

Initially PI server was working fine with HTTP service .We have activated HTTPS service in PI 7.11 server to access external HTTPS service. HTTPS Service is successfully activated but SPROXY transaction is not working and giving error “no connection to ESR, local data found” from ECC and SRM Servers.

However Interface messaging between ECC -PI and SRM - PI is working. Tcode SLDAPICUST is also working fine but rfc connection SM59 SAP_PROXY_ESR on both ends getting the error - HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED.

We want to have HTTP to HTTP SPROXY connectivity between ECC to PI to SRM system. We do not want to use HTTPS between ECC to PI to SRM system and do not want to activate HTTPS on ECC and SRM.

Initially connective was working fine with HTTP (before we activate HTTPS  service on PI to access external connection).

Please help to find how we can connect/activate SPROXY HTTP to HTTP  connectivity between ECC to PI to SRM system where in PI both HTTP and HTTPS services are activated?

Hi,

We are having the following issue in the inbound AS2 communication. The audit log shows the following :"SEEBURGER/MESSAGESPLITTER: Cannot lookup the
Message Splitter RA connectionFactory. Reason: Path to object does not exist at
SeeXIMessageSplitter, the whole lookup name is
deployedAdapters/SeeXIMessageSplitter/shareable/SeeXIMessageSplitter.
"

We cannot find the "deployedAdapters/SeeXIMessageSplitter/shareable/SeeXIMessageSplitter" in the JNDI browser. Are we missing an SDa or SCA file?

  • CPA (Collaboration Profile Agreement) cache is ES Repository and Integration Directory content compiled into runtime objects
  • Refresh triggered by change lists activation in Integration Directory and ES Repository (for runtime-relevant objects like mappings, adapter metadata, etc.)
  • Optimized object loading during full cache refresh using temporary files, cache queries in memory
  • Changed CPA cache refresh update on Adapter Engine leads to less memory consumption and less communication over server nodes

six.PNG

5) Integration Engine Improvements

IE Messaging –Queues Balancing

  • Sometimes messages behind big messages spend much time waiting even if other queues are available to process. This behaviour usually causes disruption in EO messages order. Now there’s a logic to rebalance the queues

IE Messaging –Queues Balancing

  • Exploit all available queues
  • Prevent unnecessary wait time
  • Keep message rather ordered
  • Messages from longer queues are reassigned to other shorter queues
  • Parameters in Integration Engine (TUNING)

HI Experts,

Would like to have your inputs in a RFC receiver adapter issue.

We had an existing scenario of RFC receiver adapter where in a mapping we had to change the constant to a new value (as per client req).

But unfortunately the new change is not reflecting in the rfc which is transfered to ecc.

Could any one of you please help me in this regard.

Awaiting your inputs.

All,

I am working on a requirement to send alerts for messages in delireving status for more than 30 mins on AE. For that I need to create a ABAP program.

I have done the same for messages on the ABAP stack (in Running status for more than 30 mins) and it works fine. Now would like to move forward to do the same for messages on Java stack.

Please let me know if someone has worked on a similar thing and any suggestions on how to go about this.

send file to a soap web service as an attachment

0
0

Dear SCN members

We have a requirement on PI 7.3 to send files as an attachment to a soap web service. Can it be done just by choosing "Keep Attachments"

We would require ESR in this case as the web service wsdl would be imported as a Service Interface.

What about mapping? The file needs to be transferred as it is as it would be digitally signed from ECC.

Does anybody possess a sample web service which accepts attachment so that i can test y scenario?

Issue while using transported Parameterized parameter SNDPRT in Idoc control record

Hi All,

We are using "Parameterized Mapping Parameters" for Idoc Control records in File to Idoc Scenario.

In that we are using parameters as below:

1. RCVPRN

2. RCVPRT

3. SNDPRN

4. SNDPRT

Now the issue is when this interface is transported to Quality environment and changes have been done accordingly including changed values for above parameters I am getting below error in testing.

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.service.mapping.MappingException: Runtime Exception when executing application mapping program com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_AutoCreditMemo_; Details: com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException; com.sap.aii.mapping.api.UndefinedParameterException: The input-parameter SNDPRT does not exist

Though the values can be seen in ICO in QA.

Can anyone let me know any solution for the same.

Thanks

Problem with Alternative Access URL

Hi everyone,

The problem: seems like my alternative URL is wrong.

I created a wsdl using SAP PI and it is working good.

In order to define security access to that web service and in order to change the service name I had to get to SOAMANAGER.

For this purpose, I created a Service Provider using se80->create Enterprise Service->create Service Provider.

Once my Service Provider was created and activated, I look for it in SOAMANAGER.

I gave input to the alternative access URL and tried to create a client using this new URL.

But it did not work.

What am I missing ? Did I have to create a Service Provider ?

Thanks for the help.

Regards.
